My business is built on Integrity, and that extends to how I handle your private information. This policy explains how the "magic" happens behind the scenes and how your data is protected.

When you invite Your Third Arm into your life, you aren’t just hiring a service—you are gaining a confidant. My business is built on a "Code of Conduct" that ensures your home, your information, and your peace of mind are always protected.

1. The Vault of Privacy

What happens in your home stays in your home. Whether I am organizing your tax receipts or clearing your "junk drawer," your personal business is never shared, photographed (without permission), or discussed. Your privacy is my primary product.

2. The Security Standard

Keys, alarm codes, and gate passes are handled with military-grade seriousness. I treat your access points as if they were my own, ensuring your sanctuary remains secure from the moment I arrive until the moment I leave.

 

3. Radical Honesty

If a task is outside my wheelhouse or a mistake is made, you will hear it from me first. No "smoke and mirrors"—just honest, transparent communication.

 

4. The Dignity Clause

There is no judgment here. Life gets messy, and to-do lists get overwhelming. My role is to lift the weight, never to judge the "clutter." I see the solution, not the problem.

5. The "Wicked" Work Ethic

I don’t just "do" the job; I conquer it. I show up on time, I work with purpose, and I leave every space a little more magical than I found it.

Our Commitment to Privacy

I collect only the information necessary to provide you with exceptional service. This typically includes:

Contact Details: Your name, phone number, and email so we can coordinate your "Wishlist."

Service Logistics: Your physical address for deliveries or home-based tasks.

Payment Information: Handled through secure, encrypted third-party processors. I do not "store" your credit card numbers or banking information.

The Golden Rule: I will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your data stays within the Workshop.

Confidentiality & the "Kitchen Table" Promise

As your "Third Arm," I often see the inner workings of your home or business.

Discretion: Anything discussed during a Kitchen Table Consultation or seen while performing duties remains strictly confidential.

Security: If I am entrusted with house keys, gate codes, or login credentials, they are stored using high-level digital encryption or physical lock-and-key security.

Terms of service (How We Work)

To keep the magic flowing smoothly, we follow a few simple rules:

Agency: When I shop for you, I am acting as your authorized agent. I am not responsible for manufacturer defects or store stock shortages, but I will always communicate with you to find the best substitution or solution.

Cancellations: I value your time and ask that you value mine. Please provide 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations may be subject to a "broken wand" fee.

Payments: Invoices are due upon receipt or within the timeframe agreed upon during our consultation.

Digital Cookies & Analytics

Like most websites, www.yourthirdarm.ca uses small files called "cookies" to see how visitors interact with the site. This helps me improve the experience and ensures the "magic" is  correct for everyone.

Your Rights

You have the right to ask what information I have on file for you at any time, or to ask that your data be deleted from my "Scroll" once our work together is complete.

The "Change of Plans" Policy

Life happens. Magic requires timing.

I value your time as much as my own. Because I reserve specific windows to dedicate my full "Third Arm" to your tasks, I ask for the same courtesy in return.

1. The 24-Hour Grace Period

If you need to reschedule or cancel our session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. This allows me to offer that "magic window" to another client on the waiting list.

2. Cancellation Fees

More than 24 hours' notice: No harm, no foul! We will reschedule for the next available opening.

Less than 24 hours' notice: A cancellation fee of $10.00 will be applied.

No-Show: If I arrive at our "Workshop" (your home or location) and cannot gain access or you are not present, the full service fee will be billed.

3. The "Force Majeure" Clause (True Emergencies)

I am a Godmother, not a villain! If a true emergency, sudden illness, or "Act of God" occurs, please reach out as soon as you can. I am happy to work with you on a case-by-case basis to find a solution that is fair to both of us.

4. If I Have to Cancel

In the rare event that I am unable to make our appointment due to illness or emergency, I will notify you immediately and prioritize your rescheduling at the earliest possible convenience—with a little something extra for the trouble.
